Ryder Sinclair is a kick-ass artist that knows how to blend the grittiness of hip-hop with the explosiveness of EDM when he creates music. In his latest single, “What You Want,” Sinclair fiddles with the two worlds once again, creating this high-octane banger that does everything in its power to turn any day of the week into a Friday.

On the real, there are so many things to love about “What I Want.” First and foremost, I love the instrumental attached to it, as it boasts this futuristic sound that truly makes you believe Sinclair was in the studio with a Decepticon when he made it. Speaking of Sinclair, I enjoy how he kept things simple lyrically, relying on his melodic rapping and powerful sentiments about being the best version of himself guide him through life.

Passionate about music from a young age, Ryder Sinclair committed himself wholly to music production in 2012 , and since then he has made a name for himself on the electronic music scene. He grew up playing multiple instruments, getting a feel for how each one sounded and the ways the sounds interacted, laying a foundation for his music career gradually but surely. Early in his electronic music career, Ryder focused on progressive house, but more and more, he shifted his attention to a pop / ballad sound, bringing together elements of future genres such as future bass and future house. His mission is to create music that people enjoy listening to, music that will get people moving, and music that offers something extra, an emotional punch that sticks with you long after you hear it. Based out of Oulu, Finland, Ryder is 22 years old. He cites as his influences David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Kygo, and Flume, among other imaginative and creative producers. His favorite food is pasta, and in his free time, he enjoys travel, intent on seeing the whole world and seeking out one adventure after another, eager to meet new people and grow.
